  State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP)  
 
  DESCRIPTION  
  A State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP) is an environmental planning instrument which applies to the entirety of the State with respect to a certain issue, or which applies to a specific area of the State. SEPPs are drafted by the Director-General of Planning after consultation with public authorities. They are submitted to the Planning Minister and then made by the Governor upon the approval of the Minister.
